What first drew you to archery?

GB: "My dad was starting a JROTC archery team at Hollister High School and asked if I would like to try shooting.

My parents signed me up for lessons with Coach Rippee. I started learning the proper techniques and steps to shooting over the summer. And it was fun!"

What is your favorite part of archery as a whole?

GB: "That anyone can do it and everyone is welcome and encouraged to do their best. My dad even has an archer who shoots using his teeth.

Also, I've made a lot of good friends through archery that I wouldn't have known otherwise."

Tell us about an obstacle you had to overcome.

GB: "Last summer I grew three or four inches, which changed my aiming point and my draw length, causing me to question my process, and shook my confidence.

I started lessons again to rebuild my process. This gave me a fresh start and more consistency."

Please give beginning archers one piece of advice.

GB: "Trust your process and PRACTICE!"

What is one archery goal you are working towards?

GB: "I'm heading to nationals in May and my goal is to podium in bullseye or 3D."

Thank you, Greyson! We're so proud of you.
Good luck at Nationals!
